About Twin Stripe

Hi! I’m Katie the blogger behind Twin Stripe. Welcome! I’m so glad you are here.

As a kid, I poured over the pages of magazines, from YM to Seventeen to Domino. I dreamed of one day putting together the beautifully styled pages of the magazines I spent so much time with. I received my undergraduate degree in graphic design and spent four years working in a nonprofit organization in Chicago. I still dreamed of magazines, but I also started reading blogs like Design*Sponge and Style Me Pretty during this period.

Katie of Twin StripeI headed to graduate school in North Carolina to study Interactive Media and before I knew it, Twin Stripe came to be. The blog has gone through a few iterations, but I love it’s current direction. Twin Stripe is a blog dedicated to helping readers create a bright and modern lifestyle that doesn’t cost a ton. You will find easy DIYs, tasty recipes, entertaining ideas, style tips, home decorating inspiration and more.

Currently, I live in Greensboro, NC with my fabulous husband, Chad, and adorable pup, Hobbes. I spend my spare time decorating our home and throwing festive parties. I believe you can never have too much glassware or glitter!

Five years ago I never dreamed I would be blogging, but here I am with a blog over three years old and I can’t imagine life without it. If you are new to Twin Stripe, here are a few popular posts to checkout:

DIY Dipped Nightstand |  Floral Monogram Wreath  |  Breakfast Picnic  |  Twin Stripe Travels: Asheville, NC  |  Style Your Bar Cart as Beautiful Entryway Table
