Alison and I have been working hard to develop a more structured editorial calendar for the blog. We have planned a lot of great content for the next few months. We also want to make sure there are some columns you can expect on a regular basis. One of our goals for 2013 is to have a color trend post each month with fresh colors to inspire.

This month’s color trend features the Pantone color of the year: emerald. It is the perfect color for ushering in a new year that I hope is vibrant and exciting. The color also conveys a much needed sense of balance and harmony. A hint of emerald on your nails or around your neck can add a hint of luxury to your everyday life.
