It should come as no surprise, but I love wrapping presents. I like to add special touches to each gift I wrap, like a bow in the recipient’s favorite color, a holiday ornament or a fun gift tag. It makes each gift even more personal and look beautiful under the tree.
I always start out the wrapping season with a few new rolls of gift wrap plus leftovers from prior years. Ikea had a great selection of wrapping paper this year. If you live close by, I highly recommend you check out the selection. Target always has a great variety of gift wrap and accessories for all tastes and budget. If you are lucky enough to live near a Paper Source, they always have a ton of flat sheets that they only sell in stores. And this fun double sided Kate Spade paper would look festive under the tree, polka dots or stripes!
Once you have your paper selected, gather up assorted package adornments. At the holiday wrapping party, I had a large selection of ribbon, bows and bakers twine on hand. Everything was laid out on a tray for easy access. I had a selection of miniature jingle bells and tinsel on hand to embellish the packages. Don’t forget extra tape and scissors!
Every present needs a gift tag. Download the chevron and glitter tags here.
Wrapping holiday gifts should never be a chore. If you can’t have a holiday wrapping party, turn up the holiday tunes (stop by tomorrow to wrap up the week with a holiday playlist!), pour yourself a glass of bubbly and get to work!
