Somehow another month has come and gone! Before we rush into Christmas and the holidays, I’d like to take a moment to talk about Thanksgiving. There’s really nothing better than eating a big turkey dinner with your family. The drastic change in season here in Philadelphia and seeing some beautiful fall foliage on a drive to New York this past weekend, has inspired me to start thinking about setting the Thanksgiving table.
Home Made Winter, which can be found in Terrain, has me drooling. Perfect recipes for the seasonal items and cooler temperatures. I am also loving West Elm’s Wooden Tripod Antler Candle Holders. The Everygirl has instagramed a couple fabulous arrangements with them. I think Johnson Brother Dover Vintage China would be perfect for Thanksgiving place settings. A friend of mine, Rachel Moore, has a set that I love.
Can you tell I’m still into antlers? I love the Surroyal Pitcher and Horned bottle openers, both from Anthropologie. The Pier Hurricanes are from Crate and Barrel and would be perfect for candles or seasonal items you might want to display, like pinecones, gords, or small pumpkins. Make sure to check out Crate and Barrel’s site, they have a beautiful Thanksgiving interactive feature. Lastly, I’ve been thinking about Amy Merrick’s DIY pinecone garland from Design*Sponge ever since it was posted around this time last year. And a table this beautiful deserves some delicious food!
