Hi friends! How are you all doing this morning? I’m working on getting back into to the groove after a few days off followed by a great trip to New Orleans. Catch a few photos from the trip on Instagram and Facebook. I look forward to sharing some of my favorite places in New Orleans in the future.
I’ve been loving the woven yarn wall hanging trend since it first appeared on Pinterest months ago, but I wasn’t ready to spend $100 on a trendy wall decoration. I was thrilled when I found a quick and easy way to create my own mini yarn wall hanging from Jenni at I Spy DIY. After working with Vivid Interiors and their amazing artwork, I realized I needed a few more pieces on my walls. I decided to create a simple wall hanging to place above my my entryway table.
My wall hanging may not be perfect, but I love the pop of color it adds to the wall. It was inexpensive to create, I just used a wooden dowel, different colors of yarn and some bakers twine to hang it. I still have a small piece of the dowel leftover and I can’t wait to make another colorful wall hanging.
