Enjoy the heart wallpaper! If you are expecting a snowstorm this weekend, be sure to bundle up and stay safe. We are expecting 5-8″ inches of snow and ice in central North Carolina! Brrr!
I just spent a wonderful weekend in Chicago with temperatures in the single digits on Sunday – burrr! While I was away, the temperature dropped in North Carolina enough to produce a dusting of snow. Today, an arctic airmass is heading our way, making it extremely cold. With all of that said, I think it is safe to say winter is finally here! If you aren’t prepared for plummeting temperatures, be sure to pick up a cozy piece or two.
1 Cheateau Parka in Stadium Cloth, J. Crew Factory | 2 Pearled Cables Beanies, Anthropologie | 3Quilted Marlo Satchel, Vera Bradley | 4 Pointelle Pullover Sweater, Gap | 5 Skinny Jeans, LOFT | 6 Cream Infinity Scarf, Old Navy | 7 Black Wool Felt Booties, TOMS | 8 Balm Dotcom, Glossier
How adorable is that red coat? I’m a sucker for faux-fur lined hood – they are always cozy. I can’t get over the sophistication of the Marlo Vera Bradley bag. It has the perfect front pocket for your cellphone so you never lose in in your bag again. Also, have you tried Glossier’s Balm Dotcom skin salve? It’s perfect for everything – lips, hands, face and more. Add one to your winter bag now!
Every year I get excited when Pantone unveils the color of the year and this year, they did not disappoint. Pantone selected two colors this year – rose quartz and serenity. I love the dreamy combination of the two colors, which is exactly what Pantone was going for when they selected the colors – evoking a sense of wellness and tranquility. I rounded up a few of my favorite things that you can easily incorporate into your daily life.
