DIY Glitter Bunnies

This DIY was inspired by adorable colorful bunnies Alison and I saw in Chicago. We wanted to recreate them and figured everything is better with glitter! And so the glitter bunny was born.

Materials

  • Foamcore
  • Bunny template (download here)
  • Mod Podge/glue
  • Sponge brush
  • Colorful glitter
  • X-Acto knife (and extra blades)
Cut the bunny from the printed template and trace both pieces onto the foamcore. Next, carefully cut the bunny out of the foamcoare with the X-Acto knife. Make sure your blade is sharp so it is easier to cut. When you are finished cutting both pieces of the bunny, slip the pieces together.
Now you are ready to glitter! We found working in fourths is easiest. Use the brush and cover 1/4 of the bunny with glue. Then pour glitter over the area. We used a lot of glitter for maximum coverage. Let dry and display. These bunnies would look great as part of a centerpiece for Easter brunch.

Have a great Easter weekend!
