Can you believe the 4th of July is less than two weeks away? I’m looking forward to celebrating with my parents, grandma and Chad. They will be traveling from St. Louis, so I will be treating my family to a great backyard barbecue complete with all of the fixings! I see a spread of burgers, chicken, grilled veggies and delicious sides. I also love to add special details like fun dotted napkins to celebrate such an occasion.

Customizing basic white napkins is easy, fun and a great way to impress guests. To get started, open your napkin completely and add red and blue dots with your pouncer along the hem. I have a set of pouncers, so I can mix up the size of my dots. When I’m happy with my design, I let the paint dry completely and then get ready to celebrate the 4th of July!
I hope you had a great weekend! I spent a lot of time getting ready to head to the Southern Blog Society Conference beginning Friday in Charleston, SC. I had an amazing time last year and I know that will be the case this time too. I’m looking forward to seeing friends from last year and making new ones too! If you are heading to #SBScon, be sure to let me know.
Cheers to a productive week!
