Galentine’s Day

Many view Valentine’s Day as a romantic date night but instead I think it is a great time to get together and celebrate Galentine’s Day with your best girlfriends, a la Leslie Knope. To create a fun and festive bash, pickup your favorite heart shaped treats, a bottle (or two) of bubbly, add some pink nail polish and romantic comedies and you are on your way to a perfect Galentine’s celebration!

Galentine's day tablescapeDecorate your table top with crepe paper stripes in your favorite Valentine’s colors and bunches of spray roses. (I taped the stripes to the underside of my table to create this look.)

bubblybarSet up a bubbly bar complete with fresh berries so your friends can help themselves. Make fun swizzle sticks out of wood skewers and washi tape for a to complete the bubbly bar’s look.

Valentine's downloadDecorate your space with a festive XOXO garland. To create the garland, print the XOXO on white card stock and the hearts on your choice of Valentine’s paper. Cut out all pieces, then use baker’s twine and a large needle to string the pieces together. Hang your garland on your mantel, above your bar cart or on your wall.
