Happy Valentine’s Day!

Happy Valentine’s Day my loves! We are busy digging ourselves out of Winter Storm Pax. (Don’t you love how they all have names now!) Greensboro saw about five inches of snow followed by sleet and more snow. Regardless, Chad and I are planning on a date night this evening, filled with a cocktails, dinner and maybe even a movie! What are you all up to this evening?

Happy Valentine's Day // Twin Stripe

This year I participated in a Galentine’s Day Swap hosted by Allie and Ashten. I was paired with Laura of the blog Mrs. Laura Beth. I loved getting to know Laura and her blog and I look forward to reading it in the future. She put together a fabulous Galentine’s Day package for me! I told her I loved beer and she ran with it! Laura gave me a pint glass tumbler, which will be perfect for a summer day on the patio. (Summer can’t come soon enough!) Also in the package was a beer bread mix, which I quickly put to good use to accompany a warm bowl of soup. There was also a cupcake bath bomb, glittery gold nail polish and tasty chocolate covered popcorn. She spoiled me with so many fun gifts. THANK YOU! Check out what I gave Laura for Galentine’s Day on Mrs. Laura Beth.

  1. Super cute!

We went to a local pizza dive joint for dinner, got a pitcher of Dos Equis Amber (oh, fancy!), and then came home to watch the first episode of House of Cards. It was wonderful.

    1. That sounds awesome! Pizza and beer are the best plus House of Cards, can’t be beat! I just watched the first episode….SOOOOO GOOD!

What do you think? Katie loves to hear from you!
