I’m a sucker for a holiday beverage, especially anything that involves cranberry and cherry! Today I’m sharing an easy, fruity holiday cocktail that will be perfect to serve with Christmas brunch. It uses juices you might already have on hand for brunch, so you don’t have to spend extra time at the grocery store. Mix a big batch in a pitcher so family and friends can help themselves.
- 1 part Skinnygirl® Tangerine Vodka
- 1 ½ parts DeKuyper® Triple Sec
- ½ part DeKuyper® Cherry Brandy
- 2 parts orange juice
- 2 parts cranberry juice
- Cherry for garnish
- Shake all ingredients except brandy in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Pour in a martini or rocks glass and drizzle cherry brandy over top the other ingredients.
- Garnish with a cherry and an orange twist. Cheers!
It sounds delicious, doesn’t it! If you have a hard time finding the cherry brandy, you can always drizzle a bit of grenadine for a cherry kick or just skip it. Either way, it will still be delicious.
I also have to let you know that I picked up the adorable plaid “Cheers” straws at the Target Dollar Spot. They were of course $3, but I decided they were too cute to pass up.
I hope you have been enjoying the holiday season. I feel like I’ve been rushing through it, trying to get a million and one things done. Yesterday I read two posts by Whitney English on intentionally focusing your time and energy to create the holiday season you want. I’ll be using this concept over the next few weeks. Find part 1 here and part 2 here.
Do you feel like you have been rushing through the holidays too? If so, take a break to read Whitney’s posts, mixup a Holiday Cherry Cheer cocktail and create the holiday you envision!
