  1. My favorite summer cocktail would have to be a Spiked strawberry lemonade!
Keep up the great work on the blog!

  2. Favorite is a cucumber splash: Skinnygirl Cucumber Vodka, muddled cucumbers/limes/fresh basil, simple syrup or agave, and lime seltzer. So refreshing! PS love the blog!!

  3. Choosing my favorite cocktail must feel the same as choosing a favorite child. My go-to is always a dirty martini (w/vodka, up) but I’ve been trying to branch out!

Adult Arnold Palmers seem to be the perfect drink on a summer’s afternoon (just use a bit of Jeremiah Weed Sweet Tea Vodka and Lemonade…BOOM you’re winning The Golf).

  4. Sangria is by far my favorite summer drink. It takes a bit of work and the forethought to plan ahead, but is always a huge hit no matter what the occasion.

Besides the typical spirit ingredients, my favorite additions are apples, peaches, oranges, grapefruit and a bit of ginger ale.

Second favorite was the signature drink at my wedding. We called it a “North Cackalacky Y’all” which was a big hit with guests. The typical name is a John Daly. It’s basically Sweet Tea Vodka with lemonade. My favorite brand of sweet tea vodka is called Firefly and is from NC. Watch out, this is a potent drink!

What do you think? Katie loves to hear from you!
