Happy August, friends! It’s one of my favorite months on the blog: travel month. I have a some exciting posts lined up that are sure to inspire wanderlust. Get ready to be transported to new and exciting locations and maybe even book your next vacation.
- African Safari – My family visited Kenya six years ago for a safari. Watching lions, elephants and giraffes (to name a few) in the wild is simply amazing. I highly recommend adding a visit to Africa to your bucket list.
- Bahamas – The sparkling, blue water around the islands is shallow, so it is easy to sit back and relax in the ocean. Instead of planning a trip to Nassau and the Atlantis, select a different island with less tourism so you enjoy the Bahama’s true beauty and can truly relax.
- Barcelona, Spain – Chad and I visited Barcelona on our honeymoon and feel in love with the colorful Catalonia city. There is something for everyone there: great art (Park Güell, Picasso Museum), beautiful beaches, and delicious food and wine.
- Washington, DC – There is nothing I like more than walking down the National Mall and taking in our nation’s bustling capital. While the amazing restaurants might be pricey, there are many budget friendly attractions. I recommend visiting the Smithsonian to see Julia Child’s kitchen or take a White House tour and learn how the Obama’s really live.
What are you favorite travel destinations? What do you suggest I add to my bucket list?
