What I’m Pinning

Alison and I are in the middle of wrapping up the fall issue of Twin Stripe and looking ahead to the winter issue. When searching for inspiration, I often turn to Pinterest. When deciding on a color scheme, thinking up an idea for a DIY or making dinner, it never fails me. Here are a few of my favorite recent pins.Katie's Pinterest PicksAs fall rolls around, I love browsing all of the beautiful pumpkins at the famers market. These chevron pumpkins from My Sweet Savannah are a fun way to ring in the season. Chad and I are trying to cook more at home and we enjoyed these garlic and thyme quinoa cakes from Cook Republic. Try them with a splash of sriracha for an extra kick!

I’m loving this office, featured on Design*Sponge, that I spotted on Kristen Grove’s pin board. It has me dreaming of new ways to style my office with chic gold accents. These sweet DIY gold leaf paper mache bowls by Kelli Murrary would be a welcome addition on my desk. To complete a the look, I am considering picking up a set of these pig bookends from CB2, which I found through one of my favorite pinners, Kelly.
