I’ve always wanted to throw a Mother’s Day brunch for my mom, grandma and mother-in-law, but we all live in different cities. This year, I put together a beautiful brunch in their honor. Although I won’t be able to celebrate with them on May 8, I will be thinking about them.
If you will be with your mom this Mother’s Day, treat her to a special brunch at home!
I teamed up with the talented Brittany of Letter Lane Design Studio to create this brunch. I selected a color pallet of blush, leaf green and gold and Brittany created the beautiful place cards and menu. This extra touch made the brunch even more special.
To recreate this centerpiece, you will need vases of various sizes that match your color scheme and assorted flowers and plants to fill the vases. I picked up the succulents and polka dot plants at Lowes and a bunch of spray roses at the grocery store. Once I filled up all of my vases, I clustered the plants in the middle of the table to create a simple and elegant centerpiece.
At each seat I placed one of Brittany’s gorgeous hand lettered name cards, a blush spray rose and a dip dyed napkin. Small but special details like these make the table extra special for mom.
Come back on Thursday for part 2 of this post. I will be sharing more brunch photos and all of the delicious recipes! You won’t want to miss the above salad recipe. Mom will love it!
