Last week was popcorn week and now it’s popsicle week!
Personally, I don’t think the month of July could get much better.
Billy over at Wit & Vinegar is the genius behind popsicle week. This year you will be able to find over 65 amazing popsicles like Floating Kitchen’s Spicy Tequila Sunrise Popsicle, A Cozy Kitchen’s Funfetti Cake Batter Popsicles and my strawberry lemon rosé pops. Click through to get the recipe.
This is the most perfect summer popsicle ever mostly because it has one of my favorite summer wines, rosé, in it. Rosé is made like a glass of red wine, but the grape skins are removed much sooner to produce fruity and refreshing rosé. It’s the perfect wine to sip on a warm patio, but it’s even better on a stick!
Ingredients
- 2 cups rosé wine
- 3 cups diced strawberries
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 lemons, juiced + zest of one lemon
Instructions
- Puree all ingredients in a blender until smooth and then pour into popsicle molds. Freeze for 4-6 hours.
- If you prefer to use wooden popsicle sticks, let your pops set for at least an hour in the freezer without sticks.
- Enjoy!
Basically, this pop is summer on a stick with fruity strawberries, tart lemon and refreshing rosé. Hop on over to the popsicle pinboard to find even more delicious ice-cold recipes!
