Yesterday I shared my love for lifestyle blogger, Joy Cho of Oh Joy! and today I want to share a few DIY and craft bloggers I read and am inspired by on a daily basis. Each of these lovely ladies has their own unique style and creates beautiful projects, parties and more. I hope you enjoy!
The House That Lars Built
If you haven’t visited The House That Lars Built, I highly recommend you do so now (Don’t worry, the site will open in a new tab so you can keep reading). Even if you haven’t visited Brittany’s site, I bet you have seen her handwork on Pinterest or featured on another blog. I constantly come back to her blog for styling and project inspiration.
Favorite projects: Flamingo Pop Bridal Shower, Fruit Welcome Mats, Gift Wrap Ideas for Spring

The Crafted Life
I recently started reading Rachel’s blog, The Crafted Life, and I fell in love with her colorful style and easy craft project. I find our blog philosophies similar; we both want to share ideas that are accessible to all. I really love Rachel’s “10 Minutes or Less” projects column because everyone has 10 minutes to try a DIY. If you are looking for a a weekend project, I highly recommend you start your search at The Crafted Life.
Favorite projects: Abstract Painted Ring Dish, Bleach Dyed Napkin, Pom Pom Brooch
I Spy DIY
As you might have noticed, I’m partial to DIYers who aren’t afraid of using color and Jenni from I Spy DIY falls into that category. The I Spy DIY blog is full of colorful, modern projects and more. Her photography and styling is always flawless and inspiring, taken in a studio with white walls. I must mention, it was Jenni who inspired me to create my own yarn wall hanging a few months ago.
Favorite Projects: Pineapple Print Pillow, Neon Tassel Bracelet, Hanging Wall Banner
Homey Oh My!
I first started reading Amy’s Homey Oh My! blog when I discovered her beautiful work space reveal. As much as I love color, I love anything with a touch of gold and Amy’s office has just that. I also love that so many of the items in her workspace are DIYed so you can recreate the same look. When you head to Homey Oh My!, be sure you have some time, because I bet you will get lost in Amy’s lovely projects!
Favorite Projects: Work Space Reveal, Floral Monogram, Mirrored Gold Hexagon Tray
Studio DIY
Last, but certainly not least is the Studio DIY blog, which I have been reading longer than any of the above blogs. Kelly knows how to make everything a party and I love that about her. Studio DIY features easy, small projects, like a piñata makeover, to larger, more difficult projects like a taco piñata! If you are looking for a party idea, idea or just to bring some fun into your everyday, be sure to check out Studio DIY.
Favorite Projects: Piñata Makeover, Pretzel Pillow, A “Palm Fronds + Bon Bons” Dinner Party
Of course, this is just a small handful of the DIY and craft blogs I love. If you are looking for other blogs to read, be sure to check out: A Beautiful Mess, Sugar & Cloth, Delineate Your Dwelling, A Bubbly Life and Oleander and Palm. What are your favorite DIY blogs?
