Last week, I got together with some of my favorite home and DIY bloggers to bring you the Finding Fall Link Party. It was a great way to kickoff fall, especially because it seems like the weather changed from summer to fall over the weekend in North Carolina! Thanks to everyone who participated in the linkup – it was great to see so much fall inspiration in one place. Today I’m sharing three of my favorite fall links. Enjoy!
Hot & “Settee” – Our Craigslist Settee Makeover
First off, let me say how impressed I am by Heather’s DIY reupholstering job of this beautiful settee. I know if I tried to reupholster something like this, it would never look this good. I love how she took a classic piece and made it kid-friendly with Halloween themed pillows and a cozy chevron blanket. The artwork she hung above the settee adds an extra dose of fun. Be sure to visit her blog, The Heathered Nest, to see more!
DIY Monogram Wall Hanging with Tutorial
I love this monogram wall hanging Laurie of 4Sythe Trail created. Even more, I love that she designed it so she can easily change the flowers out to fit any season. This wall hanging would look great in an entry way or in a kitchen for touch of fall.
Joy of The Aspiring Home has me inspired to give my porch a little makeover this weekend. I love the overflowing pots of mums in orange and gold and the cute pumpkin topiaries by the door. The fall wreath on her chic black door is the perfect finishing touch to welcome fall!
