Everyone one should have a go-to recipe that can quickly and easily be made for an impromptu gathering or dinner party. Smoked salmon & cucumber bites only require four ingredients and can be made in 20 minutes or less and there is no cooking or baking required. That’s a win-win in my book!
This appetizer is perfect in the summer with fresh cucumbers and chives from the farmers market or your garden, but it can be served year-round since all of the ingredients are always available. Ingredients
- 1 container room temperature whipped cream cheese
- 2 cucumbers
- 2 tbsp fresh chopped chives + extra for garnish
- 1 package smoked salmon
Instructions
- Remove cream cheese from fridge so it can come to room temperature. Slice cucumbers into 1/4 inch rounds and place on serving plate. Place cream cheese into a bowl and mix in the chopped chives. Place a small spoonful of cream cheese on each cucumber and top with a piece of smoked salmon and chive. Serve immediately or place in fridge until ready to serve.
