I’ve been using all-natural cleaning products for the last few years because I don’t want to expose my family to chemical laden cleaning supplies. I’ve never made my own cleaning products, but recently I came across Kasey Schwartz‘s new book, Essential Oils for a Clean and Healthy Home. The book begins with a primer on essential oils and then dives right into different cleaning recipes.
Keep on reading to discover Kasey’s easy recipes for cell phone cleaner, makeup brush cleaner and a citrus hand scrub from Essential Oils for a Clean and Healthy Home.

I was able to find all the ingredients for these recipes at Whole Foods. The initial investment might seem high, but you use such a small amount of essential oils, that they will last a long time.
